A TV channel produced a telefilm with the same name in 2008 based on this tale.

The plot of the novel centers on Pakistan’s independence. Mubarak Ali is a staunch supporter of the Congress League. He despises Muslim League politics and believes their idea of a separate nation for Muslims in India is a farce. On the other hand, his son Muzaffar is a young patriotic youngster who strongly supports the Muslim League’s vision and admires his leader, Muhammad Ali Jannah.
