Mutthi Bhar Mitti (مٹھی بھر مٹی) is a Pak-India Migration based story written by a renowned female author Umera Ahmed. It informs us of the hardships and the sacrifices given by our previous generations. It depicts all of Pakistan’s freedom-related moments. A TV channel produced a telefilm with the same name in 2008 based on this tale.

Book Summary:

The plot of the novel centers on Pakistan’s independence. Mubarak Ali is a staunch supporter of the Congress League. He despises Muslim League politics and believes their idea of a separate nation for Muslims in India is a farce. On the other hand, his son Muzaffar is a young patriotic youngster who strongly supports the Muslim League’s vision and admires his leader, Muhammad Ali Jannah.
